We've used Appliance Surgeons on a couple of occasions over the past decade and have always been impressed with their professionalism and honesty. If your appliance needs repaired this is the place to call.

We are so impressed with the service we received from Appliance Surgeons. Communication was excellent with Lisa in the office, who was kind, courteous, informative and speedy in her responses. Tony called in advance, was completely on time, was professional, tidy, courteous, and informative. He patiently explained all steps, everything he needed to do and why, and what to expect. Happily, they had pre-ordered the parts, so everything could be done on the first visit. He was kind with our dogs, and completely easy going. Everything was fixed beautifully and within the timeframe he estimated. The price was exactly as quoted, and the payment was easy with many options. Overall, just a terrific experience, and highly recommended! UPDATE (7/01/2020): My dryer stopped heating and so a quick email to Lisa had Tony at my house within a couple of days. Everything noted above still applies, a very positive experience - what a great company! Very happy with them, and will continue to call on them for all my appliance repairs.

Today was at least the 4th time I've used Appliance Surgeons since I first had them fix my fridge almost 12 years ago. The service was excellent. Tony is efficient, knowledgable, helpful, organized and clean. On top of it, he is nice and personable. He even indulged my 2 year old twins who very fascinated by his toolbag. From booking my appointment with the very nice lady on the phone, through the reminder phone call and finally visit I could not be happier. And the price for the work was very reasonable as well. And Tony made sure he provided the quote before he commenced the work. Fast reliable service. I would highly recommend appliance surgeons. We have use them several times for our dishwasher and washer and dryer. They answer the phone promptly and come when they say they’re going to arrive. The man that we have dealt with is extremely professional and knows the workings of the appliances very well. They have parts in stock and can quickly repair appliances without having to wait. Our dryer is a gas dryer and he is also a licensed gas technician so able to fix the dryer quite quickly. Don’t hesitate to trust this company!

My washing machine died on a Sunday evening. I sent an email to Appliance Surgeons shortly after, and Lisa got back to me within the hour, and had Tony scheduled to look at our machine on Tuesday afternoon. He had the problem diagnosed within minutes, explained the part that needed replacing and ordered it as soon as I gave him the green light. Knowing I have four kids, he said he would do his best to get it fixed by the weekend. He actually came through much faster, and had it fixed good as new by Thursday evening! Tony and Lisa, thank you so much for an excellent customer service experience! Your Google reviews are spot on! You are great!

We have an oven that shuts itself off while heating up. Based on all the 5 star Google reviews I called Appliance Surgeons and they sent Tony. I now know why this company and this technician get 5 star reviews all the time. And I say this knowing that so far the oven has not been fixed. That's because Tony has tried everything he can think of and more. He's replaced parts (all returned at no cost when they turned out to not be the solution) done online research into this issue, checked with the manufacturer and God knows what else. I should also mention Lisa who responded to all my emails to set up that first visit, update on parts order status and relay messages to Tony - she is fantastic. After last nights visit (his third) we were sure we had the issue solved. This morning it seems the oven has reverted to its habit of shutting off while it's in the midst of heating up. Not sure if we'll continue to try and fix this eleven year old stove or replace it, but I know for sure Tony is up to the challenge - can you ask for anything more than that from a technician? He is extremely knowledgeable and hard working - and I repeat, this is from a customer who's oven has not been successfully fixed. If there were a rating higher than five stars Tony and Appliance Surgeons would be getting it. My wife and I thank you guys for the efforts and you will be getting referrals should we ever be asked about appliance repair.

Can't say enough good things about Tony and Appliance Surgeons. Tony arrived when promised, diagnosed the problem in a minute or so, had a replacement part with him, and installed it in 15 minutes. He also gave us good advice for future. Worthy every penny. Tony is going into my Rolodex.

The expert that came over was kind, experienced, clear about what was needed for a repair and extremely quick. He was there at 2:40pm which was just great. Our first time working with this company. Graciously accommodated the unexpected gas range going on the blink. Highly professional and knowledgeable about the intricacies of the electronic parts that are common failure points. Would not hesitate to ring them again in the event another appliance requires maintenance.

Fridge died; I booked an appointment online. Tony was here the next day, on time. He was very friendly, diagnosed the issue quickly and had parts available in town for less than I could find online. I have a fridge again, and it cost me less than I expected. I'm very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend this business. A+

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE!! We called because our gas stove's display told us that the fan was faulty. So $150 for the technician to tell us what the stove said and order the part. They charged $300 for the fan and another $180 for installation. After 4 MONTHS of continual emails telling us that the part was in the US but did not know when it would ship, we decided to phone Whirlpool Canada. And discovered that the part is actually made in Canada, can get it in 2 weeks and costs $109!!! Called Valley Home Appliances and they got the part and repaired it in 2 weeks for $270 parts, labour and taxes in! NOT the nearly $700 that Appliance Surgeons charged! And furthermore, NO ONE at Appliance Surgeons would talk to us by phone! The only way to communicate was by email! HORRIBLE service! Felt totally taken! What a scam!

Without a doubt Appliance Surgeons are the best company to call for appliance repair. We have had them repair several appliances in our 14 years in Ottawa. Just recently our dryer broke down, and unfortunately our service call was cancelled due to the recent Ottawa "snowpocalypse". Lisa was in contact right away to determine the best opportunity to reschedule and kept me informed, without me having to check back. Our technician Tony is an outstanding individual who takes care to explain the problem thoroughly and provides a detailed explanation of his repairs. I strongly recommend them to anyone needing their appliances serviced.
